Head of Sales Support

Our client is a leading UK investment firm managing assets for more than 30,0000 investors. Partnering with financial advisers, wealth managers and family offices, they design and deliver innovative investment solutions.  Currently they are seeking a Head of Sales Support who will lead and develop a team that plays a critical role in supporting the wider Sales & Marketing function. This position offers the opportunity to shape and enhance operational processes, empower business development teams, and contribute directly to the company’s commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop the Sales Support Team to deliver high-quality, timely support to the Sales & Marketing function.

  • Design, implement and refine systems, tools and processes (including CRM, reporting and dashboards) to improve efficiency and productivity.

  • Manipulate and present sales data using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms to analyse performance, track KPIs and uncover new opportunities.

  • Oversee team workflow and inbox management, ensuring tasks are prioritised and executed effectively.

  • Co-ordinate logistics, agendas and presentation materials for both virtual and in-person sales and marketing meetings.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align responsibilities and streamline cross-departmental processes.

  • Liaise with external partners and vendors to complete competitor analysis and related projects.

About You

You are a proactive, detail-oriented professional with proven leadership experience in a Sales Support or Sales Operations role—ideally within financial services or a related sector. You combine analytical acumen with strong organisational and people management skills.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, charts).

  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).

  • Excellent data analysis, reporting and presentation abilities.

  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to work independently.

  • A collaborative, adaptable and “can-do” mindset.

  • High attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
