Business Development Manager, City of London

A leading video insights and data-driven media platform serving the General Insurance and Insurtech space is seeking an experienced and ambitious Business Development professional to join its growing team.

This global business partners with top insurers, brokers, and Insurtech innovators, producing compelling content from state-of-the-art studios in London and New York. Their data-led approach delivers unmatched audience intelligence and strategic outreach for content sponsors across the industry.

The Role

This is a newly created position which plays a pivotal role in driving strategic growth and building high-value partnerships. Reporting directly to the UK Head of Business, the successful candidate will enjoy high visibility, senior leadership exposure, and direct influence on commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach.

  • Close high-value deals and consistently exceed sales targets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, both virtually and in person.

  • Understand complex client challenges and propose data-driven, tailored solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute targeted sales campaigns.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience selling to marketing teams within General Insurance carriers, Insurtech companies, brokers, or their media agencies.

  • Brings high energy, strong activity levels, and a competitive, results-oriented mindset.

  • Adept at consultative sales with a clear understanding of the insurance market.

  • Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
